2-WEEK PROGRAM (Ages 13-19, *Ladies Only)
This special two-week program is for young ladies only between 13-19, who wish to be immersed in the details of classical ballet variations. The curriculum includes daily classes in classical technique, pointe, and intensive study of some of the most famous solo choreography in the history of ballet. This is truly an excellent opportunity for those wishing to prepare to successfully compete at international ballet competitions.
**Please know that the summer intensive programs are considered “phase two” in the audition process for acceptance into the year-round Ellison Ballet – Professional Training Program. Participating in one of the summer programs allows Mr. Ellison and the faculty to see how the student works over an extended period of time and allows the student to get first-hand experience of Ellison Ballet, its faculty, and programs, thereby allowing both to determine whether the student and school are a good fit. Auditions for the year-round program are held during the four-week Summer Intensive each year for interested students.
YEAR-ROUND PROFESSIONAL TRAINING PROGRAM (Ages 12-19) September 2021-May 2022
This year-round program is designed to meet the needs of those dedicated students, from across the U.S. and abroad, who seek the highest standard of classical ballet education to prepare for a professional career. Working daily under Edward Ellison’s artistic direction, and his faculty’s careful guidance, students develop the essential skills to fully explore and realize their greatest individual potential. This program is based on the Vaganova method, a system of training that is logical, thought-provoking, inspiring and highly effective. There is great emphasis on our men’s program, focusing on the development of the power, stamina, and masculinity associated with strong male technique.
